Brad Dunlap Joins CIVCO Medical Solutions as Vice President, Business Development

CIVCO Medical Solutions, a leading manufacturer in ultrasound guidance, infection control and high level disinfection, has announced Brad Dunlap as its vice president of business development. Mr. Dunlap will lead CIVCO’s global upstream product innovation strategy. In this new role, Mr. Dunlap will also manage business and product development with ultrasound OEM partners. CIVCO designs, manufactures and distributes specialty medical devices for use in ultrasound procedures in over 80 countries and for leading ultrasound equipment manufacturers such as GE, Philips, Siemens and Canon. Mr. Dunlap has over 25 years of experience in the medical device industry, beginning his career at CIVCO in marketing, product management, account management and eventually leading CIVCO’s first international office in Belgium as Director, Business Development. He then spent twelve years with Baxter Healthcare’s Renal Division in Europe and at its global headquarters in Illinois. Mr. Dunlap’s final post at Baxter Healthcare was Senior Director, Global Marketing before returning to CIVCO in 2012 to serve as Vice President, Marketing and Product Line Management. He was most recently Vice President and Managing Director of the Health Division at Dunn&Co, a full-service creative marketing agency in Florida. “We are excited to welcome Brad back to CIVCO as Vice President, Business Development,” said Robin Therme, CIVCO President. “Brad brings the best of both worlds: incredible experience in the development of global medical device brands and products and a deep understanding of CIVCO’s unique opportunities and challenges. He serves on the board of directors for the Children’s Place International, a Chicago non-profit serving the needs of children and families facing extreme poverty and health issues in the developing world. Mr. Dunlap will be based at CIVCO’s corporate headquarters in Coralville, Iowa.
