Robin Therme Named President of CIVCO Medical Solutions

Coralville, Iowa – CIVCO Medical Solutions, a leading manufacturer of ultrasound guidance devices and infection control products, has announced Robin Therme as its new President. Ms. Therme will oversee all aspects of CIVCO’s business, which designs, manufactures, and distributes specialty medical devices for use in ultrasound procedures in over 80 countries and for leading ultrasound equipment manufacturers such as GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba.

With more than 25 years of experience in various posts at CIVCO, Ms. Therme will bring to her new role as President a valuable perspective of deep, cross-functional understanding combined with bold organizational vision. In Therme’s most recent position as Executive Vice President, she led Operations at the Kalona, Iowa, and Deep River, Connecticut, facilities in addition to Sales Operations at the Coralville, Iowa, office. She has also managed engineering, R&D, marketing, OEM business development, program management, and international distributor sales during her tenure at CIVCO.

Ms. Therme has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor of Arts in communications from Iowa Wesleyan College. She has also been active in the communities she has lived, serving on the Winfield-Mt. Union School District Board for nine years, the last seven as president. She has also served on the Workplace Learning Connection committee, connecting local business and high school students for career and educational development opportunities. Therme’s dedication to community involvement is a driving force in CIVCO’s commitment to the local and healthcare communities.
